TreatmentA pregnancy massage generally lasts for 60 minutes (other durations available if necessary). Throughout the massage you will be completely covered, only the area being worked on will be exposed. You will be positioned on your side supported by full length pregnancy pillows and will swap to the other side half way through your massage. During the earlier months of your pregnancy you may be able to spend time on your back, positioned appropriately with small pillows, however during the later months will be limited to side lying treatments.
It is advisable to avoid large meals and excess water consumption before your massage, however restrooms are close to the treatment room if required. |
